OK, my first post is not part of the round the world trip BUT it is a great start as it is simple holiday you can take over the long weekend and we always love long weekends don’t we?

Just 3 hours away by flight (2 flights though) from Singapore and 2 hours by flight (direct) from Hong Kong, the resort paradise of Nha Trang is style meets total relaxation and 100% Baller Status. Our 2 bedroom Pool Villa came with 2 spa treatments daily for each adult guest, buffet breakfast and airport transfers. You also get free city transfers to experience the town of Nha Trang every evening. The damage? Cheaper than most resorts in Bali. We paid USD100 each per night at Fusion Nha Trang and it was a value for money holiday in terms of the perks you get and the size of the villa and pool. You get to choose from facials, Ayurvedic treatments or relaxing massages and you get 2 treatments daily with your room rate. Treatments were done in a private room for 2 or 1, so our party of 4 had 2 rooms. The spa treatments were pretty good as a pre dinner activity.

Our only gripe? The food was only so-so. We tried both the vietnamese and western food at the restaurant and it was pricy but not tasty enough for our liking. Which was why we had to count on our super ‘good-boy cabbie’ affectionately known as Son (Son’s mobile: 0162 7105595, he speaks minimal English but Google Translate is a life saver!) to pick us up to bring us on a Nha Trang food tour for our dinners. We had the best Bahn Mi, Pho and local Barbecue in Nha Trang.
